10 years ago We discussed this at the hangout today [1]. We need to follow up with @dclunie about the exact form of the docbook xml [1] and how well the tables can be converted into computable form.
In particular the question of representing SR templates using XML Schemas [3]. @michaelonken reported that Jorg had looked the question and found XML Schema too limited, but thought that Schematron [4] would possibly be able to express SR template conditions in a verifiable manner.

Cross-referenced standard would be very useful for project activities. During the kick-off meeting, it sounded like the XML representation should be ready sometime very soon. Based on DSC minutes, some early version of parts 3 and 16 are available in XML form somewhere already.
David, can you update this issue as there is progress in XML conversion, so the QIICR developers can comprehend DICOM more efficiently?
We also have some resources that we can possibly use to help proof-read or facilitate the conversion process. Let us know.
