There is no way to check the states of the deadline by using the application.

So far, I only can know the state of the deadline if I mark it, and it will show on the result message. But if I want to check whether I finish the deadline for a specific pet, how can I check it except by opening the json file. Can I get the information from the application itself. It is inconvenient to ask user to open the data file to find the information.

Thanks for raising this valid featureflaw. However, it is not in our promised deliverables, as mark is meant to mark a deadline as done, so the petcard will no longer be highlighted. It is not promised anywhere that we will indicate the status of it. The workaround to this is edit deadline to be empty.
