Will start listing avenues here -> make a point to develop a deliverable to present to the team.
Innovation - Make our product the best it can be and provide more value than other places. This can be split by front-end and back-end
Customer Relationship - Make customers feel like they are a part of the pool. They will stick with us and potentially push others to us as well
Acquistion - Not feasible in this environment and would be counterproductive (feeds the centralization narrative)
Reward loyalty - e.g. referral programs increase retention. Help clients gain more with us. Give people a portion of the fees for the first month when they refer someone?
Customer Engagement - Similar to relationship above. Maintain it and enhance it.
Stay ahead of competition - Innovation. Provide cool stuff and make it good -> get pool switching at some point?
Unique Brand Position - Why are we different? We are the first, and tested with Testnet. What else? Once we know, brand as such.
Market to niche audiences - As part of PR, focus our message on the audience we are trying to reach. Don't be generic unless we need to be.
Research and understand competition. We need to know what they are providing, how they are doing it, if we want to understand our place and how to be better.
Some other thoughts to get a following, things I've seen around that mattered to me. • setup merch, t-shirts hats and stickers to build brand loyalty • build simple to use interface for miners to use • provide setup scripts and easy beginner use... One click mining... • get good info into our main mining page • build API/web interface for miners to monitor their mining progress. Custom dashboard • maintain uptime, investing on backend stability and failover • provide common port mining via SSL/TLS ports 80/443 for firewalled miners
How can we get more people using our pool? Especially upon the release of mainnet. We want to be main pool in a field that wants to generally avoid centralization. We need a plan for gathering customers and keeping them.
