"Messages since last visit" indicator #542

If there are new messages and the corresponding thread is opened - it would be awesome to have line that indicates which messages are new or unread like in other chat messaging applications

The same should be achieved on the mobile side..

I put this far aways because the pain would already be reduced immensively by having "good" timestamps (whatever that means) with a date line break or date shown in the timestamp or whatever. If we have all that we can think about this one here.

thats right... ...but already know which messages are read already, don't we? So it would be easy to show something like an "unread messages" line?
