Fonts look blurry in Ubuntu 21.10 #331

Dear maintainer Dear community

I am having issues with Qalculate since upgrading to Ubuntu 21.10 (as far as I can remember that's when the issue started). The fonts look very blurry, as can be seen on the screenshot below: image Is this a bug or has some Qt config gone haywire? Important note: I am using Qalculate 3.21 (GTK) and the issue only occurs on Wayland, not on xOrg.

Which version are you using (snap, flatpak, etc.)? Have you change the application font in preferences?

BYT3M3 commented 2 years ago

I have the snap version and I didn't change any font.

This is likely a snap specific issue. I quick search indicates that the issue is also present in other Snap applications in Ubuntu 21.10.

So this has been around for nearly a year? Suggestions anyone :-)

I second this. PS. I love qalculate. Thanks for developing and maintaining this piece of software.

how can I check which version am I using?

This issue has hopefully been fixed with the new snap package using core20 and gnome-3-38.
