Crash when starting with Windows #338

Because Qalculate takes a bit of time to open the first time after a reboot, I set it to start with Windows. This has worked well until now. On last reboot, Qalculate crashed. Here is the error:

Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: qalculate.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 61645026 Fault Module Name: libpango-1.0-0.dll Fault Module Version: 1.48.7.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00027257

Using Qalculate (qalculate-3.21.0-i386) on Win7.

Does the crash recur on reboot? Were there any recent update or change in settings? Which method do you use to run Qalculate automatically on startup?

Not so far, thankfully.

Were there any recent update or change in settings?

Nothing at all changed regarding Qalculate, but did update LibreOffice from v7.2.2 to v7.2.3 a few hours before rebooting.

Which method do you use to run Qalculate automatically on startup?

In Qalculate's preferences, I enabled the Hide on startup and Use system tray icon options, and then created a Windows shortcut to qalculate.exe and placed the shortcut in the Startup folder in the Start menu.
