AP++ Altitude Hold issues #20

After using AP++ for a while along with FMC, I have been facing issues with the altitude setting in AP++. When I slew over to 30,000feet anywhere in GeoFS and then set AP++ to hold altitude at 30, 000 feet, the AP++ system will immediately send me into uncontrolled ascent/descent and disengages. Even when I try to control it manually, it is very difficult to control. While I understand that this may occur due to going above aircraft parameters, I tried it again but within parameters. The aircraft is an A380.

How fast were you going? It's possible you oversped.

All parameters were within range, 30,000feet and 300kts IAS

  1. Make sure your sensitivity isnt really low
  2. Its possible that part of the code is responsible for this: mainly the exponentialSmoothing used
