Problem with .smd exports #108

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Create model in blender
2.Export as .smd
3.load it into game engine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to see my model exported, instead I see parts of my geometry completely
missing.

What version of Blender and the SMD Tools are you using? On what operating
system?
2.73 on windows 7 64 bit system.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have narrowed down the problem to the model itself by making changes to the
uv layout, textures, etc and loading and reloading into the game engine. The
problem is very obviously something with the model or the export process, as I
can make changes to the model that then show up in the engine, when I do this,
some parts of the geometry I create show up, and some do not. I am unable to
determine if the game engine is clipping or if it's the export file that has
problems, but I have seen many tutorials in which no clipping was present in
much more complex geometry.

Please also provide the .blend file you're exporting from. You can upload it at
