Autokey won't paste into IBM Notes client #100

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an autokey phrase with text-replacement and hotkey (in this case
alt+ctrl+shift+s, though I've tried others)
2. Use in gedit to verify that it's working both with text-replacement and
hotkey
3. Fail to work in IBM Lotus Notes client on Mint Linux.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I used a single word (that I can't type here because it *does* insert my
signature in this form) as my text-replacement and alt+ctrl+shift+s as my
hotkey. It should insert my signature, and does in every application I use
except for IBM Lotus Notes client (version 8.5 FP4)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
AutoKey (GTK UI) 0.61.7 on Linux Mint

Start by trying the latest version from the PPA - 0.61.7 is very old.

I've upgraded now, to version 0.70.4 (from
http://gtk-apps.org/content/download.php?content=108774&id=1&tan=27267768&PHPSES
SID=eb6b566badadba1aba2701eb4e3666e3) and still have the exact same problem.

That's still really not the latest version and there have been many bugs fixed
since then - the latest is 0.71.1 and is available from the PPA (link on the
autokey homepage)
