Does not produce non English letters

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type the shortcut for a word like Jungfruvägen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected Jungfruvägen  I see Jungfruv'gen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.54.5 Ubuntu 10.10

Please provide any additional information below.
I have two layouts one for Swedish and one for English.  My system is set to US 
English as the default.  When I switch to the Swedish layout Auto Key doesn't 
work. (Understandable)  I pasted my address into the phrase box and thought it 
would reproduce exactly what was in the box.  It didn't.

Probably the ancient version of AutoKey you are using. Upgrade to the latest 
version (it's in the official repository) and try again.

Also you can't switch layouts while AutoKey is running. Linux does not handle 
that in a transparent way so there is no way to fix this problem.
