Opening a 24bit image in command-line gives wrong mouse cursor (arrow) #515

If any image loaded on startup is 24-bit, there is the hourglass cursor during 
color conversion, then the mouse cursor is the arrow pointer instead of the 
freehand "cross"; and the brush preview is also not shown. The situation goes 
back to normal if you do anything that changes the mouse pointer (open a 
window, chang tool, etc)
