Project name

Exploring Dynamic Circuits through Gibbs Free Energy Calculations and Error Mitigation

Github repo

https://github.com/owaisishtiaqsiddiqui/QRISE

Description

The Project seeks to demonstrate the behavior of Gibbs free energy using dynamic mid-circuit measurements. We Developed a framework for estimating the free energy of quantum systems using variational quantum algorithms. We Implemented ansatz parameterization techniques to construct parameterized quantum circuits capable of preparing quantum states relevant to the free energy calculation also Designed efficient algorithms for estimating expectation values of Hamiltonians and computing the free energy based on the obtained results and Evaluated the performance of the developed framework through empirical analysis, including benchmarking, optimization,

Hi @frankharkins this was the Winning project for the QRise researchathon IBM Quantum challenge held over one month and organized by Quantum Coalition - https://www.quantumcoalition.io/challenges We got a chance to present this as a winning solution before Brian Ingmason and Luke Govia from the IBM Team. We want to write a blog and a have a demo day talk on the project

Closing after discussion in with @AbdullahKazi500. We're reducing the scope of the ecosystem to projects that users can install and take advantage of, which excludes demos and research code. We still think this project is valuable and will try to find another home for it. In the meantime, the authors will write a blog post and present about this at a demo day on the 11th of July.

Hello @AbdullahKazi500! You joined the Qiskit ecosystem recently, here are some follow up actions you can take to make the most of the program:

:speech_balloon: Join other Qiskit ecosystem developers in the Slack channel #qiskit-ecosystem (if you are not in the Qiskit workspace yet, sign up)

:mega: Showcase your project by

:stethoscope: Get support integrating with Qiskit, including updating your project to Qiskit 1.0, using our documentation theme, and integrating with the transpiler plugin system. Reach out to Frank Harkins via email for any questions or suggestions about working with Qiskit.

It's great having you as a part of the ecosystem!
