Well I think there're strategies to do achieve this, so I didn't close this issue. e.g. Teleport player to the desired area then ask the server for data, repeat this over the whole map. In fact, I've found a client which can download the whole map from a server. But such thing would be considered invasive for a server.

I forgot. btw that's a 1353 client, too long ago.
It work normally in single when u can scan entire large map but when you enter multiplayer as non-host and scan the map, it only scan 1/4 of the map and not entire map.
