I've checked my configuration and router, and I do not believe the issue is on my end. I'm willing to try some code changes; but would need some suggestions - Here's a bit more data:
All 4 of my devices are have fixed IPs assigned by DHCP
At power on ALL of the devices report "Connection for Weather Data failed" and come up with time 00:00.
If I connect to the device, it shows the "Configure Weather Data" page
If I then choose "Refresh Data" from the menu,, the weather and City data come back on the Web Page and show on the device.
The device will cycle through 3-5 minutes (this appears to be random or driven by something outside the device) with "Good" data and THEN display the error again.
As I said, I'd be happy help debug this; but some starting points would be good
