Filter the event started discovery based on the resourceid, my gut feeling is that today we have a multiplier for discoveries 'cause each disocvery starts for every event logged and the event is logged for every "root" entity.
Apply the connectivity rules and checks (heartbeat event logged) to all the monitoring scripts
