New suggestion for /reference/8.3.0/shellfoundry-intro.html #165

Hi Our Documentation Team,

This is Dennis Chen from Quali Support. How are you?

Please make a 8.0.0/8.1.0/8.2.0/8.3.0 revision by stating:

1) Shellfoundary v1.2.0/v1.2.1 (and older releases, of course) doesn't work if there's a proxy server present between a Shellfoundry machine and a remote Quali Server machine.

This is a known limitation of Shellfoundary that's been confirmed by Quali Support and Shells team this week.

Hi Tomer,

Yes, please add this information to our CloudShell 8.0 GA/8.1 GA/8.2 GA/8.3 GA guide.

It’ll help Shellfoundry users at Quali customer sites be aware of this, before getting started or checking back for any useful information.

Is this a design limitation? I mean, does it hold true for all future shellfoundry versions or could we change the architecture to negate the effect of a proxy?

@Shnitselon - Let's focus the discussion here on what is missing at the moment in the documentation. For each limitation, we can open an internal bug and handle it internally without posting it publicly.
