Description

Spacing consecutive gateway restarts by doubling the delay in a period of 1 hour in order to reduce the number of manual soft restarts.
Recovering from timed-out restarts that never emit the restarted event.

Motivation and Context

Multiple consecutive restarts are being triggered in some cases.
In rere instances, restart times-out and the restarted event is never emitted, making the gateway stale.
