What should we do about math rendering in email?

I don't think this is possible. Running javascript in emails is a security risk and I think most clients strip out any script tags.

Off the top of my head rending server side and converting the rendering to an image. I'd say the added value isn't worth the substantial development time for this option.

Any other suggestions @AtlasMaxima?

Yeah I don't particularly think it's a good idea to render as an image... maybe we could just hide it?

I am not sure that much can be done about this without using (perhaps image conversion?) prior to sending an email. @natashawatkins have you seen emails from other platforms that support math? It would be cool to see an example if you do and we could reverse engineer.
