Google search currently doesn't find QuantEcon.notes pages very easily.

It would be good to figure out a way to add summary / description information so that google can display a summary in search results. Here are some suggestions from @DrDrij.

I was thinking we could use the meta description tag. However, I’ve read google often ignores the tag and generates appropriate summary from content. https://moz.com/community/q/does-google-still-use-meta-descriptions

I think this would also mean google won’t index the notebook itself/comments/etc.
As far as a static version for indexing - I’m not familiar enough with the way the site is built to have much input here.

It is promising that google is showing the title and correct link. @Atlas Would you be able to look into adding a meta description element on pages? This will also be the path I could use for populating SEO/Twitter cards/etc https://github.com/jstac/Bookshelf/issues/284
(Just like the rich preview displayed above for the github link)

We should also keep development going on the static rendering option via nbconvert
