@HengchengZhang , could you please reorganize the _toc file of these lectures to look like the above structure?

For any lectures that are missing (e.g., "Nonlinear problems"), please add a blank lecture (e.g., nonlinear_problems.md) that contains only the line "To be completed".

It might be best to review the open pull requests first, and take them into account, since they probably touch the toc file.
