Question: is there any specific reason that port 9101 is mapped to 9100? #1

I am interested in running IQFeed using docker, but I wasn't able to get it working during my free trial. Your image seems to be the latest among all and give me some hope. I would like to understand a bit better before I subscribe for IQFeed. Whenever you get the chance, could you kindly answer the following questions? Do you have any issues running IQFeed from docker container? Are you able to connect to IQFeed from any applications running in another docker container on the same host? Does IQFeed stay up within the docker container? What role does the JavaScript in app folder serve and why does it map the ports to a different ones? Thanks a lot!

@grandtiger You can't trial the IQFeed API

acrespillo commented 6 years ago

@yssoe is the IQfeed API user mandatory? Can't be used by a regular IQfeed trader account?

yssoe commented 6 years ago

@acrespillo you need a real API account (payed for per year) do you have one? Trials don't work

Hi @yssoe thanks for your quick response! Now I have one, but I'm not able to get the connection working. I think the credentials I'm passing in docker-run are not used within the wine emulation.
