lines on the gimbal/observation HUD #22

what are those lines above and below the center point even indicating? they are not changing with zoom and don't seem to be correlating with distances or (useful) angles. I can't figure out what they wan't to show and they are cluttering up the HUD a bit. if they serve no purpose, shouldn't they be removed?

Yeah, I think we're good to remove them. I don't think they correlate to anything.
