Average in the HyperSpectra and saving the spectra #734

Hi there I am using HyperSpectra for Raman mapping and want to prepare the spectra from a transect through the sample. I use the average (e.g. square) from an area and save the sample. By doing it with the next area the spectrum from the first has been overwrote. Any advise? Thanks a lot, Maria Screenshot 2024-07-22 at 12 22 28 PM

You should use the shift keys when creating your manual selection in the Hyperspectra widget to automatically define new independent groups. that way, the next widgets will know that the selections are independent clusters. You can parametrize the Average spectra widget so it can automatically create an average spectrum for independent each cluster, then the Save data widget will save all average spectra in one file. image image image image

I think we could make short screen captures to help people with such things.

Hey, I am working with shift key - select square in the Hyperspectra, but I have not got the marking (coloured different groups), I am on mac.

I think I got it, all in one figure Screenshot 2024-08-05 at 8 38 23 AM but it disappears after I tried to go back, so there is no groups anymore on the average spectra. Sorry, any advise how to save the inage with the average spectra and the spectra as well.
