This looks like a different issue. See the difference in error message:

It is likely that this time it is a BIOS/UEFI issue not including proper information in ACPI tables. Given the number of "Firmware Bug" log entries from Linux, it's even more likely. You can try:
amd_iommu=on
on this machine and observe boot log (look for messages about explicit enabling IOMMU, not just lack of errors)Hi, thanks for your quick response !

But sys-net booted HMV on first try !
Will try current kernel-latest : kernel-latest-5.10.8-1.qubes.x86_64.rpm to see if mce bugs where addressed by 5.5 like mentioned here. But I need to reboot and closing this issue at the same time.
Guess it's one more of those bios faulting junk. I haven't had time to check GPU passthrough or sys-usb (as my keyboard/mice is usb) but for now it seems working. I am thinking hard about a Power9 system, if only I'd have that much to spare...

This is expected inside VM (either dom0 or sys-net) - IOMMU is managed by Xen not Linux. You should see successful IOMMU initialization in xl dmesg
output.

Reporting message that iommu AMD-Vi is not enabled at install. Fail to start sys-net and sys-vm after install.
Brief summary
There used to be a Xen patch to enable iommu on AMD EPYC/THREADRIPPER. Has this patch been removed from the later builds ? Issue : #4407 mentions it. I just booted 4.0.4 and had the same msg about iommu not working.

I changed sys-net and sys-firewall to PV as mentionned in an other thread, added amd_iommu=on in grub and rebooted. I upgraded to testing :
