can you estimate the importance of this? It looks more complicated to me.

More relevant imo are qucsator style DC sweeps. Also I am looking into Qt5 these days..

I was just a proof of concept. It's working but there are some TODO's more

Will be obsolete. A simulator driver will provide a Gnucap backend, and it does not execute gnucsator. gnucsator.sh will stay for testing and debugging and Qucsator emulation.
