Hi there,

I have the same problem using the current installer for MCA Selector on Windows 10. I've tried running MCA Selector as administrator, no change to result.

Steps and behavior as above.

Environment:

OS: [Windows 10]
Java version: [Automatically downloaded v17.0.1 of OpenJDK, confirmed in the 'MCA Selector/jre' subfolders]
Version of MCA Selector: [2.1]

I see this bug report was filed a month ago, so I guess I'll go back to ye olde method of using the JAR directly and see if I have some luck that way.

Thanks for your efforts on MCA Selector - it's a great utility 👍

I have found a solution for this problem, at least in my case.

I thought perhaps the old installation or settings had caused an issue - so I uninstalled MCA Selector, then reinstalled it, it now works as expected.

I've been unable to replicate the error, my environment had previously had MCA Selector v1.16.3 (working) -> then v1.17.3 (working) -> then v2.1 (failed - as in my above comment). But I've tried uninstalling v2.1 and repeating this install process from v1.16.3 to 1.17.3 to 2.1 to see if it would fail again, but now it still works. Regardless, I hope this info helps.
