Server was working fine before all this. Went to go use MCA Selector to unrender some parts of my map. To do so, I first moved the original world folder to a backup folder. Copied the original and made my changes to it. Then placed the modified copy into the server folder. Restarted the server, but when I tried to connect to the server, I got "connection refused: no further information".
I went back and replaced the modified/unrendered copy with the original backup, but I still got the error. Not sure what's going on. Anyone have any insight?
I placed both the modified world and the original world into my singeplayer saves and I was able to log on, but both worlds were completely reset (same seed but no buildings) and my inventory was different. However, on MCA selector, the world map remains the same (with builds) on both and the unrendered map seems to have stayed unrendered properly.
Currently running a 1.19 Server on Ubuntu LTS.
