Sprint2 noelle mobile friendly testing #15

Implements/Fixes: changed the data type for themes, removed commented out sections, added tests for the new theme structure. Adjusted tests slightly to account for the new data structure.

ok so like all of the tests are passing and look good but I created the pull request before I checked the boxes bc i thought i could check them after creating .. sorry
