It should work just fine. Did you change any Firefox preference in the meantime? Did you set it to not remember History for instance or anything else? Does it work if you disable all your other add-ons except for Tab Groups?
Note that you should still be able to click "Restore previous session" in the history menu when it doesn't restore your previous session.
History is on. Tried with only tab groups and > 100 tabs and it did it again.
I think it may be related to how many tabs are open. < 100 works fine, > 100 fails, although not all the time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. 😕 I did 20 tests, with only 5 fails.
I'll just live with it. I usually don't have that many tabs open at once.
Note that you should still be able to click "Restore previous session" in the history menu when it doesn't restore your previous session.
Does this work when it happens?
@BrisingrAerowing I would try to setup a seperate FF Profile, don't change any setting and installing Tab Groups. Then try to reproduce the issue. That way you can tell if you have messed around too much in about:config ;-)
@BrisingrAerowing Sorry to bring bad news; FF50. 581 tabs (I think I need a support group..) spread across 12 groups with between 1 and 268 tabs in each. No issues; I came here to learn how to work the regex ..
FF50 was/is key .. I had resource problems with the run up to 50.
I have Firefox set to show windows and tabs from the previous session, and with 107 tabs I got the close multiple tabs window, clicking OK got rid of ALL of the tabs.
This used to work, why doesn't it now?
