Not from me at least. Pale Moon is based on a much older version of Firefox, adding compatibility to it became too troublesome after a point, so I definitely won't be doing it now either.
Oh, that sucks. I was wondering if it would be a more attractive platform, given they seem determined not to break everything every six weeks.
@Quicksaver For the ones who still want to pick up the challenge: What was the trouble? Where did the porting process get stuck?
My programming experience doesn't include addons, but my understanding is that it would primarily involve undoing all the changes to the code required to keep up with Firefox versions since 24.
Why you want to use THIS Addon for tab groubs? The original works very fine. http://www.palemoon.org/tabgroups.shtml
Because there are a lot of feature adds in Quicksaver’s Tab Groups that aren’t in Palemoon’s
@Blablaaaa Just tried and it did not work on 27.3. Strangely, both are fine on my 55.0a1 (2017-04-19) ...
(Anyway, it is "not guaranteed to work properly with other extensions that would interact with the Tab Groups add-on in Firefox".)
Edited: Both would not work if this addon is disabled in FF. The addon from Pale Moon worked only after I disabled this addon and restarted Pale Moon...
Is there any chance that support for Pale Moon will be added? They have their own Tab Groups addon, but it's woefully outdated, I'm pretty sure it's basically the same as back when Tab Groups was actually part of FF.
