Actually this is a perfect solution to #81 and, plus, technically easy to accomplish.

The problem is there aren't that many key combinations available (free) to make this simple to use.

That won't be an issue actually. Users who really fancy keyboard shortcut will find another solution, for example Menu Wizard.
