Config dropdown can be empty with no errors. #488

Error correctly shown when URL wrong. When correct, "populated" the configs dropdown with what appeared to be an empty space, no dropdown. Refresh did nothing. No error.

c711b99 is a workaround where resetting to defaults will fix it. I have code to fix this properly somewhere, will work on it next.
