No
No one yet ported it, even tried. You can be the first.
I wouldn't recommend it on stock kernels, they're... extremely finicky. (read: they crash a truckload).
alternatives?
Not really any in the exact same form-factor.
Non-NXP based boards, which means sunxi (Elipsa, Sage), or MTK (Elipsa 2E; but we still don't have the kernel for that one).
Hi,
I have the Kobo Elipsa 1, and I really would like to tried the OS. I hope one day we have version for the device. I saw Kobo provides a very big file in this repo for kernel https://github.com/kobolabs/b300-elipsa. I'm not sure why this chip have that big size. Repo for Elipsa 2 is much smaller https://github.com/kobolabs/Kobo-Reader/tree/master/hw/mt8113-elipsa2e
Thank you so much for all of your work.
new device, kernel for many devices, uncleaned kernel sources, other things in them like bootloader, many possibilities. If someone doesn't port it, it won't run InkBox. As for now everyone just "hopes" sadly :(
It's a full sunxi SDK, vs. a plain uboot/linux tree; has a bunch of extra stuff in there that might be fun for sunxi enthusiasts.
The stock kernel of the clara 2E was also used for kobo nia model c ( Thank Andi ) - and we used it and it works well ( no long long tests yet, basic porting stuff ) So idk?
Well, we ought to try it someday...

I just bought a Kobo Clara 2E. Anything I can do to help with porting / testing?
Join the discord server, there we can port the device there
Hi, I would be willing to take a shot at porting Quill to the Clara 2E. I habe some questions beforehand:
Hi,
does Inkbox run on Kobo Clara 2E EInk reader?
