FYI Additional information:
I'be tried also More Berries fabric mod, which also implies on a world creation process, and it works fine, but it seems there is no getBiomeRegistryEntry()
method call in mod repository
Additionally, I tested this mods set:
qfapi-2.0.0-beta.9_qsl-2.0.0-beta.16_fapi-0.58.0_mc-1.19.jar
MoreGems-Fabric-1.19.1-1.4.30.jar
modmenu-4.0.4.jar
cloth-config-8.0.75-fabric.jar
notenoughcrashes-4.1.6+1.19-fabric.jar
Everything works fine. It seems something was broken in qfapi-4.0.0.x
comparing with qfapi-2.0.0x
Updated my modpack with my mods with qfapi-4.0.0-beta.4_qsl-3.0.0-beta.7_fapi-0.58.5_mc-1.19.1 and no more crashes with any of my mods that add worldgen ores
I also tested and can confirm that after Quilted Fabric
was updated their version to qfapi-4.0.0-beta.4_qsl-3.0.0-beta.7_fapi-0.58.5_mc-1.19.1
this issue doesn't appear.
I close this issue. Thanks!
My config:
PolyMC 1.4.1
Minecraft
1.19.1
, instance mods:In this case, everything is OK, Minecraft starts without issues, new world was created successfully.
When I add
MoreGems-Fabric-1.19.1-1.4.30.jar
mod (or any fabric mod which assumes some changes in world generation - new ores, new berries etc, f.e.Gobber
,Bodacious Berries
etc) and restart, Minecraft starts OK, but when I do create a new world, error comes (see full crashdump stack trace below):java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'net.minecraft.class_6880 net.fabricmc.fabric.api.biome.v1.BiomeSelectionContext.getBiomeRegistryEntry()'
Not Enough Crashes
mod complains about:More Gems, Quilt Biome API
as a possible error causes (this time I tested with modMore Gems
, that's why it is listed in error).Kevin Pugh, the
More Gems
(and other) mod author pointed on this possible error cause (https://github.com/kwpugh/more_gems_fabric/issues/52#issuecomment-1200149507):Please fix this or suggest a workaround. Thanks!
