Pomodairo no longer runs at all. #114

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Click on Pomodairo in Start menu bar
2.Watch the Windows icon circle the drain for a few moments
3.Watch absolutely nothing happen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is startup of Pomodairo. Instead, I see nothing. If I try to
click on Pomodairo again, it says that the program is already running. But it
isnt' running.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using Pomodairo most recent upgrade downloaded on March 19 2011 on Windows
Vista Operating system 64 bit. Pomodoro worked great for about 2 mos, and then
suddenly stopped working.

Please provide any additional information below.
Pomodoro worked great for about 2 mos, and then suddenly stopped working.
Removal and reinstall has not solved problem.

Please try and delete the Pomodairo-1.1.db file in your user folder. This will
delete all your stored tasks and statistics, but I reckon you cannot access
them anyway?

Have you switched monitor recently? There was an issue before that the
application would remember its position and that could end up outside of the
screen area. This was fixed though, but maybe there are still some lingering
issues...

the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application
Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS\" and then i can see the gui. thanks for you helping!

Ok. Good thing you got it working though. Any idea why that helped?

Well, Sorry! I am not sure why that helped. maybe the app would remember
something in those files, and call the api of air platform in the wrong way,
he he.

@fredikj, yep, I already removed the db file. No, I have not changed computers
or monitors or updated software...I've tried complete removal and reinstall,
including removal of the database, and I just can't figure out why it won't run
at all.

try this instead
remove all the files in the folder "C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS\".
maybe the problem is about the air platform and not the app itself.

@huangyac, That file path does not exist on my computer. Attempts to find the
Adobe/AIR/ELS file were unsuccessful...there is no ELS file in the AIR folder.

that's weird. if the os is win7, try to find C:\Users\user
name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR\ELS. or try to reinstall
the air. this way helps me to make it works.
when other apps on the air platform no longer run.
this is the standard solution given by lots of websites.

Tried everything, tried uninstalling Air (it will not uninstall) and tried
reinstalling Pomodairo (it will not install). Oh, well! It was a nice
application while it ran; maybe you'll get the bugs worked out and I'll get it
again. It was such a wonderful app, too bad, :(

Deleting the pomodairo directory in ELS worked for me.

It works for me after deleting the pomodairo directory of C:\Users\user
name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR\ELS.
