sorry for the defect classification. I meant it to be an enhancement.

Tony, I agree with you and this is something I want to do. It's mostly a UI
concern,
how to implement it in a clean and user friendly way. If you've read the
pomodoro book
(http://www.pomodoro-book.com/)
I was planning to do something similar to his approach, with check boxes that
you can
tick off.
It might be over the top though, what do you think?

sorry for the late reply, I was on holiday :)
Currently I just use "xxPPS" before every item (pps being my abbrevitation for
a
tomato). I think tickboxes could be really cool but your UI is so nice and
clean it
would be sad if it got cluttered.

I think we could start off with simply adding a new column in the task list, E
for
estimated Pomodoros. (I don't really like the cryptic P/U/I, but it keeps
things nice
and tight). The 'Done' column should go away anyway since done items are
rendered with
a strike through. That will give us some more space without cluttering things
up.
I want to make a new dialog for adding a new task anyway. So it will probably
be [name]
and [estimated pomodoros] together with proper ok/cancel buttons.
