Currently, we do not use seeds for most DID-generation. We would want to have a way to deterministically generate DIDs.

Requirements:

A wallet can regenerate all their own DIDs from scratch, given only a single passphrase/seed phrase (12 random words is the industry standard)

I think indy-sdk might have features for this, but I'm not entirely sure.
