For me, a customizable filter section is crucial to an RSS client, that's why I steered to QuiteRSS in the first place.
To get rid of the whole junk you don't need, but maintaining flexibility in aquiring "new" unknown things at the same time.
I've been manually adding QuiteALOT of filter conditions over the time. I looked into the feed.db file yesterday: around 12000!
Surprised myself there...
Wouldn't it be nice for many people to import/export the whole filter section for easy external manipulation (e.g. at least txt/csv) and bulk creation?
Also, I figured the # of filter conditions per filter is rather limited. (Where is it limited to, by the way? If you overstep this # , the whole filter doesn't work anymore) :(
As a workaround I've been creating new filters for the same feeds, to enlarge the # of conditions. To sort/merge them into a more elaborate/tidier filter bank (e.g. sub categories) now, would be too large an effort manually with that large a number!
In a list form, this could be feasible though.
