# Sales Development Representative
QUOD.AI is an early stage AI startup building technology to radically innovate and improve the software development experience.
The sales team is looking for a responsible and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to provide sales support. This role will be responsible for inbound and outbound sales prospecting to engage and qualify prospects. This is a critical role as the SDR is often the first human touch point for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the overall sales experience.
This is an entry-level position with significant upward potential for the right candidate. You should be a self-starter who has a growth mindset to learn and improve. You are process-oriented and have a get it done attitude. You must love sales and have a heart to help others to solve problems. You are okay with the pressure involved in sales and thrive in a fast changing environment. Most of all though, you are a team player and believe that when we win, we win as a team!
### What will I do 🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂?
* Respond to inbound leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
* Execute outbound cold prospecting campaigns via email, phone, and social channel and progress leads to a qualified stage for follow up by sales team
* Understand prospect pain points, requirements and connecting product benefits to business value that can be provided by our platform
* Schedule sales appointments and demoes with qualified leads for the sales team
* Engage current customers to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
* Work closely with sales team to research and develop market, account, and persona intelligence to help streamline outbound sales prospecting and refine sales process
* Become knowledgeable on the QUOD.AI product offering and relevant industry trends so as to better engage prospects and speak intelligently to the value of the OUOD.AI technology

* Demonstrates empathy for customers and uses listening skills to understand customer needs
* Track record of setting and reaching goals consistently and with high standards
* Cares about details of tasks and strives to continuously learn and improve
* Ability to contribute fully to the team effort and collaborate easily with others
* Strong professional communication skills across written, verbal & presentation media
* Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs
* A deep passion for dumplings.
* Maintains a professional social media presence, especially LinkedIn & Twitter
* BA/BS degree or relevant experience
* Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle, DevOps, or Cloud technology is beneficial
