request: wider modal dialog boxes and flyout menu columns #1161

The current too-narrow width of the "add bookmark" dialog box (as well as a few other dialogs) necessitates scrolling via "click to focus on input field, then use right arrow key to scroll, in order to see full content of the field". This is inconvenient, perhaps to the degree of amounting to "an annoyance".

Please strive to ensure all dialog modals are resizable, and consider setting larger values for their default width(s).

The "too-narrow" issue also affects the content of several flyout menus: As an example: click History -} ClosedTabs The current (22 chars for each title?) displayed content is often "seemingly identical", especially after having browsed numerous pages within a single domain (ebay, a wiki, google search). User winds up with a stack of indistinct "Search results -- " truncated titles display in the menu.

IDEALLY (i think), each modal would be resizable AND would remember/apply the "last used" dimensions

The Add New Bookmark dialog is resizeable for me. I find this to be true both on Windows 7 and Linux / KDE.

these are not resizable: clarification: the box raised upon clicking star icon in addressbar is too narrow and is not resizable

Also, these are resizable, but open too small and don't "remember" last used size: (necessitates drag resize each use): -- view -} Page source -- preferences -} Other -} User Agent Manager
