Here - http://unicode-table.com/ru/sections/general-punctuation/ few characters that do not appear correctly in QupZilla. For comparison: • Firefox — 2014-04-11_121036__cr

• QupZilla — 2014-04-11_120947__

I use WindowsServer2003. QupZilla — 1.6.3

I tried to reproduce your issue, but your link http://unicode-table.com/ru/sections/general-punctuation/ leads me to this page.

Could you please post here exactly how we can get to this insert mode?

Toktilar commented 10 years ago

I was trying to say that when using HTML-codes on the forum with BB-codes, QupZilla incorrectly shows gaps; and, apparently, some other codes (sorry my bad English :-)). HTML-codes → 2014-04-14_155058_code

Firefox → 2014-04-14_155424_code-ff

QupZilla → 2014-04-14_155257_code-qz

Please add the following information to your issue as shown in the following example via Menu -> Configuration Information

Application version: 1.7.0 (7369e86) Qt version: 5.3.0 WebKit version: 538.1 Build time: Mar 31 2014 20:31:21 Platform: openSUSE Tumbleweed (Linux)

Your issue is not reproducible for me, please see this screenshot.

I assume, that this is a QtWebkit related issue.

Could you please test, if you are affected by issue #1291 as well?

Toktilar commented 10 years ago

It is too difficult for me. :-) I can tell only that Arora browser also displays those symbols incorrectly.

JHooverman commented 10 years ago

Thank you for your reply and your patience.

Since arora shows the same behaviour, your issue is probably QtWebkit related.

This is only issue in Windows, it works fine in Linux. Closing as QtWebKit issue.
