Importing Bookmarks Not Organized - Also Need Sorting #1472

In 1.8.0 Linux, I noticed when importing Firefox bookmarks, the contents of the bookmark folders, some of them where not organized and I had to drag them around.

I can't say I also like they way the bookmarks get imported into a FIrefox directory. For others that might not like this, it would be nice to include an option in the future so they just get imported as regular bookmarks appearing under the 'Bookmarks Toolbar'... It was a pain in the butt dragging out all the folders and then trying to keep from getting them dropped into another bookmark folder by mistake and organizing them alphabetically as well...

It literally took me like 10-15 mins to drag the bookmarks from the Firefox folder, especially because how difficult it is to drag them and keep them from getting dropped into another folder... Way to much work and effort... :(

This still does not work in 1.8.5, when you import bookmarks they get placed under some directory.

Can we please have an option to move them, or when you click bookmarks, they just appear there like they typically do in Firefox...

THANKS

I would put in a vote for this.

When importing Chrome bookmarks, folders are not included. When exporting html from chrome and importing the same file with qupzilla the folders follow. But they are not organized in subfolders... and from what I can tell there is no support for subfolders as I cannot move the folders into one another.

Nice to see someone else finally agree, this is a REAL PITA to deal with when importing...

Gee it only took 4 months to make it into the feature requests, LOL... Didn't mean that to be rude, finally thankful this gets fixed. :)
