When I open a page from speed dial with Ctrl+number, a text box on the page is focussed (usually a search box). The easiest page to notice this for me is https://news.ycombinator.com/ since the search box at the very bottom of the page. It doesn't happen every time, but more like 2 or of 3 times. I have not seen it happen if I click the speed dial icon. It doesn't seem to matter if I load the page from speed dial or from another page, as long as I use the keyboard shortcut.
