Cetus does not work on Chrome OS #38

As discovered in #36, most Cetus features fail on Chrome OS. I've reproduced this issue but haven't found the root cause yet.

Strange behavior here. I bought a used Chromebook specifically to debug this issue. Last week I tested Cetus on it and it failed as described above. Testing it now, though, Cetus seems to work fine.

Can any Chromebook users confirm the problem is still occuring?

I think I was able to track down the phantom Chromebook issue finally with 3c7413e6fe65cfaee9a87d9060ba7cad08330445

If any Chromebook users happen upon this thread, please let me know if you continue to have issues after the above commit.
