Bug

Unable to run Northstar.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install TF
  2. Run Northstar through the command line parameter in Origin
  3. Click on Northstar in the menu and get the above error.

I have had the exact same problem since 8 AM EDT on 20 March. Northstar work fine for TF2 on Saturday 19 March, having played for most of that day.

I get the same error, but I got TF|2 off of origin.

Northstar servers are currently shut down because of an exploit in the vanilla game https://github.com/R2Northstar/Northstar/issues/124#issuecomment-1073206536 For more info, you can join the official Discord server

As said in the issue @SamLam140330 linked to, we took down master server to investigate a few security vulnerabilities. So you not being able to connect is intentional. It sucks to have to take the servers down while we fix this but it is how it is.
