Particle (.pcf) modding quick guide: download alien swarm and it's sdk (from steam) move the materials folder from the mp_common vpk into alien swarm's swarm folder in steam launch options for alien swarm (not sdk) add -tools -nop4 start up alien swarm enter sv_lan 1 into the console switch to the particle editor (right most button on the top left)
