Change is not persistent #127

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open ME
2. Click Set Custom tab
3. Set any code here
4. Reboot
5. Open ME or Market... the code is back to default and market apps stop 
showing again.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The code should stay preserved along reboots.

What version of the product are you using? On what ROM?
HTC Magic 32A
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT-1.33.2010 (SAPP50000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
RA Sapphire 1.7.0H
COS-DS 24th Jun 2011 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=950765)
8GB SD, No Swap, 256 ext2.
No JIT/CC, VM 24Mb.

Same happens with ROM Ginger Yoshi 1.1/1.2.

MarketEnabler does only change the runtime settings so the effect you describe 
is "works as designed".
The Donate Key adds the ability for fake on boot but it doesnt work under all 
circumstances.
