ME doesnt start on Galaxy Nexus #160

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. opening the application
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I assume I'm supposed to see the application. Instead the only thing i get is a 
black screen with a small grey bar on the left edge.

What version of the product are you using? On what ROM?
ME 3.1.1.3 on GN 4.0.1 with 3.0.1-ga52f63 kernel

Please provide any additional information below.
have su, busybox, root

Attach a logcat output if possible.

ME was previously working on my GSM GNex 4.0.2.  After a reboot I see the same 
screenshot as above... perhaps related to upgrading from Market to Play?

I can confirm this is caused by the "Force GPU rendering" setting in the 
Developer Options settings menu. 

Uncheck this box and ME returns to normal.
