Do you have a copy of the original Serial and Restore code (for Battle.net) or
Secret key?

Are they the same as the Serial and Restore code shown when you right-click and
"Show Serial & Restore Code" or "Show Secret Key"?

If you didn't write the Serial and Restore Code / Secret Key, can you send me
your v2 authenticator file and password. It should be
"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Windows Authenticator\authenticator.xml" unless
you have renamed or saved it into a different location.

Send that and the following in an email to me, at winauth@gmail.com

1) Open the registry (press WinKey-R or do Start->run and type 'regedit', click
OK).
2) In the left side, click and open up HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3) Click and open Software
4) Click and open WinAuth
5) Click and open LastGood
6) On the right side, you see one or more lines with "---BEGIN PGP
MESSAGE---...". Double-click each line to open a window and copy everything in
the 'Value data' field and paste it into an email or text file.

@jimmyvs I tried the authenticator file you sent me, but here it is generating
exactly the same code as Blizzard's own authenticator. It is still likely
something to do with the time syncing. Can you try actually doing a restore and
seeing if it sets up the time correctly?

@goberse Please try using the sync option first, otherwise follow the steps
above and create a new issue.
