R1.10 - stim: listener familiarity with varieties #40

Please provide details on which variety the listeners were familiar with, and put these data in relation to the participants’ responses in the results in a more systematic way.

Action: add descriptive info

Ah I worked on the other comment before looking at this one. Let me explore the repo and then get back to this.

Okay here's the info:

spn_variety totals
Colombia 4
Costa Rica 4
Dominican Republic 2
Honduras 2
Mexico 47
Peru 2
Puerto Rico 4
Spain 44
USA 78
None 38

We could add something like: "The participants were reported to be most familiar with Mexican (47 participants), USA (78 participants), and Spain (44 participants) varieties of Spanish. See table X for information on how many speakers reported familiarity with a variety of Spanish."

Coded in 13_small_data.R (see familiarity) and can be included using inline chunks.

This issue was addressed above (See Figure \@ref(fig:plot-learner-variety-familiarity) and Table \@ref(tab:table-learner-variety-familiarity-conditional-effects)) and has been included in the revised manuscript.
